Writer, Director and Producer of Nobody But Us, Kimball Carr has explored various mediums across a 20 year creative career with work that has been featured by the National Association of Broadcasters, Panasonic, Fast Company magazine and numerous film festivals and media outlets. After a time as a print artist and writer, Kimball transitioned to authoring comic books, co-creating the well-received Shadow Agents series which was distributed to the United States and UK. During several years writing in the commercial and industrial production worlds, Carr authored a variety of short and feature film scripts as well as television pilots, some produced and others languishing in development. In 2003 Kimball wrote, produced and directed the suspense thriller Revolver which received film festival praise and positive reviews from screenings in New York and Los Angeles. Kimball wrote, produced and directed Samaritan
in 2006, which received strong reviews and also marked the first example of long-form filmmaking using non-tape or film-based media. In 2012 Kimball hosted and produced the first episode of Left, Right & You – a Web documentary series exploring the two-party political system in America. The episode was shot on locations in New York City, the Valley of Fire in Nevada, Las Vegas and Kauai, Hawaii. For Left, Right & You Kimball received the second of his Telly awards for direction. In 2014 he began work on Nobody But Us with the intent of exploring the meaning of the famous Police song, Miss Gradenko, by which the story is inspired. A collaboration with skilled Cinematographer Lance Kaplan, Nobody But Us was shot using RED camera technology at resolutions of 4K and above. The film was completed in early 2015 and has been shared at festival venues across the United States.
